Info: We welcome each other, embrace and rejoice. The 5th Greek BC Convention begins! That's when you get your goodie bag. I will also have the draw for the Kindle and the photography exhibition from the photography competition "Book in the Urban Landscape"; the winners will also be awarded. What: Mass release in Ano Poli
Where: Are from Thessaloniki? One of us? Go to "T.S. Venizelou" bus stop, on Venizelou, next to Eleftherias square. Are from out of town? Go to "Lefkos Pyrgos" bus stop, after the White Tower, close to the Royal Theater.
Info: Each group starts from its bus stop, we go uptown, finishing at "Agioi Anargyroi" bus stop. From there we will walk donwhill towards the center, passing from the streets of Ano Poli and releasing books. We also say a few things about a couple of places that matter, what do you think I am, uneducated? Attention, currently the itinerary of route 50 take place every 1 hour. If you miss the 11.00 bus, you can find us by taxi, or an hour later with the same bus. Also, the ticket costs €2, make sure to have change with you!

What: Open discussion with topic "Book and Internet"
Where: Central auditorium, Macedonia University, 156 Egnatia st.
Info: The discussion will have several panelists, including: Aris Dimokidis, author of children's books and blogger, Nikos Karatzas, publisher-bookseller, Sofia Nikolaidou, author and educator, Alekos Papadopoulos, author and Giorgos Skampardonis, author and journalist. Mrs. Aphrodite Pimenidou, director of University of Macedonia Press will coordinate the discussion.

Info: €15 per person, incuding food and drink. Eat well, the IMF is upon us.

Where: Stereosis photography lab, 3 Zefxidos st.
Info: I will have cofee, and maybe cookies. Authors Kyriakos Athanasiadis, Styliana Galiniki, Konstantinos Gousidis, Aris Dimokidis, Isidoros Zourgos, Apostolos Lykesas, Sotiris Mpampatzimopoulos, Simos & Lena Oflidi, Giannis Palavos, Spyros Paloukis and Vassilis Papatheodorou will also be there. I'm not telling you what we'll do, nyah-nyah! Let me just say that this event is limited to participants of the convention only. Your friends will meet you later!

What: Flashmob release
Where: White Tower.
Info: First of all, if you don't know what a flashmob is, go here to find out. Now, what will we do in our own flashmob? We will circle the White Tower with books! So, bring lots and lots of books with you, so that we can achieve this great, wonderful goal. I'm making you nervous now, right?

Where: Sunny day: in the park close to the White Tower. Rainy/Cold day: Colombo Shcool of Foregn Languages, 128 Egnatias st.
Info: If the weather is good, I'll take your of a pic-nic, food is on me, don't be anxious. Wear something you won't mind if it gets dirty and bring along your good mood, a camera and keep your last book, the seafront is ideal for releases. I will also have the awards for the Demek Release Challenge, yeah! If the weather's bad we'll do the same, only indoors, at Colombo, Thessaloniki's 2nd OBCZ.

What: Fun/Dance
Where: I Folia tou Kokkora, 33 Lachana st. Meet me at "424 Stratiotiko Nosokomeio" bus stop, for buses 2 and 14. However, you can also walk, you need about 15-20 minutes from Kamara, it's a straight line.
Info: €10 entry per person, includes 1 drink and fruit. Every extra drink costs €10. C'mon, let me see bookcrossers dance!!!
