Sofia Nikolaidou

Sofia Nikolaidou studied classical literature (undergraduate and postgraduate studies) and utilization of Information and Communication Technologies for the teaching of literature (phd thesis).
She worked as an educator for philologists (2000-2003) and as an educator for educators of philologists (2007-2008) with literature as subject.
She has taught Literature in the School of Dramatic Arts of the National Theatre of Northern Greece (2001-2004).
She teaches creative writing in the postgraduate program of the University of Western Macedonia.

Sofia Nikolaidou was born in Thessaloniki in 1968. She studied classical literature (postgraduate diploma of Classical Studies AUTH). She has postgraduate expertise in the pedagogical use of computer and network technologies in secondary education. She participated in the research team assembled by the Ministry of Education for the study of problems which may arise from the current teaching program of Ancient Greek in secondary school (1994-5). She is working in secondary education as an educator in Information and Communication Technologies.
