Simos Oflidis & Lena Kalaitzi-Oflidi

Lena Kalaitzi - Oflidi and Simos Oflidis are a couple. They live and work in Thessaloniki and have been writing together since 1989. In 1996 they published three plays, which won awards by the Ministry of Culture. From 1998 to 2006, they collaborated on several short-story collections, novels and plays, some of which also award-winning.

They both have penned independent works as well: Simos Oflidis has had a story collection published in 1982 and has been a regular article writer at Avgi newspaper, in matters of rural politics.

Lena Kalaitzi - Oflidi has written a novel in 1994 and two plays, one of which was awarded in a theatre competition in Ithaka in 1988. She has also directed a musical together with musician G. Kaimakis.

None of their works are, unfortunately, available in English.
