Giorgos Skampardonis

He was born in Thessaloniki in 1953 and studied French literature in AUTH. He worked in newspapers, radio, and television, has written scripts for television documentaries and for films. He has been director for newspapers and various magazines, while he is now director for an arts magazine, which was awarded with the European Award NewsPaper Design. One of his short stories collections has been awarded with the national short story prize in 1993.
